Overview of course levels
Beginners:
- Beginners 1: A0 to A1 (15-20 hours)
- Beginners 2: A1 to A1+ (15-20 hours)
- Beginners 3: A1+ to A2 (15-20 hours)
After completing the Beginners level, you’ll be able to have and understand simple everyday conversations in many different situations.
Pre-intermediate:
- Pre-intermediate 1: A2 to A2+ (15-20 hours)
- Pre-intermediate 2: A2+ to B1 (15-20 hours)
After completing the Pre-intermediate level, you’ll understand and use more colloquial expressions, have better pronunciation and increase your vocabulary.
Intermediate:
- Intermediate 1: B1 to B1+ (15-20 hours)
- Intermediate 2: B1+ to B2- (15-20 hours)
- Intermediate 3: B2- to B2 (15-20 hours)
After completing the Intermediate level, you’ll have a very good command of all of the verb tenses, will recognise and use even more expressions and be able to express more complex ideas.
Advanced:
- Advanced 1: B2 to B2+ (15-20 hours)
- Advanced 2: B2+ to C1 (15-20 hours)
- Advanced 3: C1 to C1+ (15-20 hours)
After completing the Advanced level, you’ll be able to understand most of written and spoken Dutch well and be very confident about speaking and writing with few mistakes.
